Ben and Nancy Paquin have embodied the very spirit of Paper Moon Dance Center since September 2003. Nancy – tall, elegant, and charming – and Ben – proof that good things come in small packages – treat each other with love and respect (after 32 years of marriage this month!) that are evident to even the most casual of observers. They never hesitate to introduce themselves to newcomers and have become fast friends with many regulars. Do you speak another language? Chances are good that Ben speaks it as well. As a "hobby", Ben studies several of the romantic languages, both spoken and written. When he's not dancing or practicing French or Spanish, Ben works as a Program Manager at BAE Systems. Nancy is an Account Specialist at CB Sullivan. Together they enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, snowshoe-ing, and speaking foreign languages. They have 3 children and just recently their first grandchild, Ethan, was born (they’re thinking of getting him a pair of dance shoes for his first Christmas!). They also enjoy participating in projects to beautify their home, but are often too busy helping out friends before they think of themselves! They have competed together at the Seacoast Classic 2003, and at the Yankee Classic 2004, in both Pro/Am and Am/Am categories. They have been part the Cell Block Tango, In These Shoes Cha Cha, and Love Potion Number 9 Cha Cha Formation Teams. Their friendly, outgoing personalities have charmed and set at ease many other dancers in group classes, semi-private lessons, and social dances. We’re pleased to have the Paquins in the Paper Moon family and wish them the best in all their future dancing! Note: Photoshop work on the picture is courtesy of Rich Young |
