New for August: Half Price Private Lesson Special!  This is a great opportunity to take your dancing to the next level or to prepare for an upcoming competition!  (Check the Competition Calendar below for more info!)   Also starting this week are Beginner Group Classes Every Saturday 6:00-6:50pm, Latin Rhythm Group Classes Every Wednesday 6:00-6:50pm, and Latin Rhythm Social Dances Every Wednesday 7:00-10:00pm.  (FYI: Latin Rhythm includes the popular Latin and Swing Dances).  Check out our Calendar page for more details!

 

Now offering Door Prizes at our Sunday Afternoon Social Ballroom Dances.  The format is the same as on Friday nights: a fifty-minute Beginner Group Class at 2pm, followed by a 3-hour Social Dance at 3pm.  The cost is $10 for the group class, $10 for the social, or $15 for both.  Refreshments will be served!

 

Come on out and join us tomorrow night – Friday, August 1 – for the Beginner Group Class 7:00-7:50pm and Social Dance 8:00-11:00pm.  The cost is just $10 for the group class, $10 for the social, or $15 for both.  Assorted refreshments are available at all of our social dances, and we have AIR CONDITIONING!

Every Other Saturday (Starting August 16): Country Western Group Class 7-8pm

                        Country Western Social Dance 8-11pm

Sundays:          Beginner Group Class 2-2:50pm

                        Social Dance 3-6pm

Competition Calendar

September 20-21, 2003: Brooklyn College Dancesport Championship, Brooklyn, NY.  Collegiate competition open to adult competitors, in cooperation with NY USABDA (United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers’ Association).

September 26-28, 2003: Constitution State Challenge Dancesport Championships, Stamford, CT.  $35 per dance, Newcomer, Pre-Bronze, 3 Bronze Levels, 3 Silver Levels & 5 Gold Levels.

October 3-5, 2003: SuperShag Invitational, Waltham, MA.  Only $100 per student!  Fun, informal, interstate competition (MA vs NJ vs CT).  Designed to introduce newer students to competition as well as to provide a "practice" competition for the more seasoned competitor.

October 25, 2003: Harvard Beginners’ Competition, Cambridge, MA.  Details to follow.
