Come and enjoy a Bellydancing Exhibition by Zahira Zuhra, Paper Moon instructor, next Friday, Nov. 21 at 9pm (during our Friday night social dance). Zahira offers group classes every Saturday from 3-4pm. The cost is $12 per person; and starting this Saturday, Nov. 15, Monthly Membership passes will include the Bellydancing class – new members are encouraged to attend! Beginners through advanced bellydancers can drop in any time!

What would you like to learn? We will be continuing the Level I and II group class series on Thursdays and Advanced group class series on Monday nights, and we want your feedback! Please contact Maria and let her know your requests! Some ideas for Level I and II classes: Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Waltz, Tango, Hustle or Merengue. Some ideas for the Advanced series: Paso Doble, West Coast Swing or Bolero. Also, feel free to suggest a dance not listed here!

Competition Update: Get ready for the Seacoast Classic on January 10, 2004, just 10 minutes north of Portsmouth! Entries are due by January 2; early entries (received by 12/15) are discounted. There are events for everyone, even those who have only been dancing a few months! Couples may compete as Am-Am (2 Amateurs), or dance Pro-Am with Maria (but she can only be in each event once, so contact her as soon as possible to reserve your spot!) Competing not your thing? The day also includes a workshop on Musicality, a lot of general dancing, and some excellent showcases to watch – two Formation Teams from Paper Moon will be competing, and it would be great to have you there to cheer them on!
