Intermediate/"Social" Dancers

I just wanna have fun!
We hear this all the time. And our response is, So do we! In our experience though, having fun doesn't preclude the possibility of improving our dancing. On the contrary, we've found that the better we get, the more fun it is! We feel good about how we look on the dance floor, how many people want to dance with us, and the compliments we get when the dance is over. We are solidly committed to always working to become better dancers. So, if what you really mean is, "I'm content with my dancing ability the way it is", then we hope you'll join us at our social dances. Drop-in Classes: Sure, this might be review since you've already done the dance and the class is designed for beginners. Take it again to improve your technique. Or take one in a dance that is new for you.
Series Classes: These are by far the most economical way to work your way through the syllabus, with a focus on using good technique in every step. Many of these classes stay together for up to 6 or 7 months. Check out the current and next month schedules to see when the next ones are being offered.
Drills and Technique classes - our group smooth and rhythm Drills & Technique classes are the next best thing to taking private lessons at a much lower price. We teach arm-styling, footwork, dance frame, dance hold, posture, body movement, head styling, and many more elements of dance. Practice Competitions: Yes, competitions! We know, you're not "the competitive type". Nearly all of our students have said the same thing at one point or another. Ask them for yourself; the ones who have tried it are hooked. There's no better way to set goals for yourself than to prepare for a practice competition, with a real judge and real professional feedback on your dancing. We hold practice comps at Paper Moon 3 or 4 times a year. Plan on attending the next one as a spectator and don't rule out the possibility of entering as a participant. You might surprise yourself and find yourself entering the next real comp!
