But I've never done it before...
The atmosphere at Paper Moon Dance Center is extremely friendly and non-intimidating. Even the more advanced dancers at our social dances are happy to dance with newcomers.

I have two left feet... Nearly everybody who walks through our door the first time says that about themselves! And yet most of them end up not only succeeding, but excelling as ballroom dancers. Most of the students who helped us win the Top Medium Studio award at the 2005 Seacoast Classic had never danced a step before taking their first class at Paper Moon, less than 2 years prior. Next year it could be you! I have no partner... We will make sure there is someone to dance with you. Because ballroom dancing is based on a lead-and-follow principle, you will actually become a better dancer in a shorter period of time if you experience dancing with different partners.

Ok, so where do I start?
We usually recommend that you start with the drop-in classes at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. We teach a different dance each week so you can experience the different dances. Once you've settled on a dance (or dances) you want to focus on, consider signing up for a Level 1 series class, or a Beginner Combo Class, at the beginning of the month.
