Private lessons -- our teachers are experienced at preparing dancers for showcases and competitions, both Pro/Am and Am/Am.
Drills and Technique classes - our group Smooth and Rhythm Drills & Technique classes are the next best thing to taking private lessons, at a much lower price. We teach arm-styling, footwork, dance frame, dance hold, posture, body movement, head styling, and many more elements of dance. Check out the current and next month schedules to see when the next ones are being offered.
Special Workshops -- we bring in some of the finest coaches in the country (who may also turn out to be judges at your next competition!) to offer workshops in their areas of specialty. This year, we'll have such names as Eddie Simon, Bonnie Herbert, Russell Monk, and more. Generally these workshops are held on the 4th Saturday of each month. Outside coaching -- If you have a particular specialty in mind that falls outside of the typical ballroom, Latin, or swing dances, we can get an outside coach to work with you and your teacher here at the studio. And if you want to work with an outside coach and your Paper Moon teacher at the same time, unlike other studios, we will charge you only one teacher's fee at a time.
Practice space -- for $10 an hour, you can use our facility to rehearse with or without your partner (based on availability, some restrictions apply, call for details).
Shoes -- we have in stock some of the finest ballroom dance shoes available for both men and ladies, smooth and Latin. If you don't see them at the studio or on our shoe website, chances are we can order it for you, even if they have to be custom made. Let us know!
