Paper Moon Dance Center
Grand Opening!
Friday, June 13, 2003

Thanks to all who came and helped us celebrate this special day with us. Here are some notes and pictures to commemorate the event. The formal festivities began at 7 with a basic group class in Foxtrot and Rumba. All told, we had about 40 dancers on the floor. The Social Dance from 8-11 brought in about 60 more for a total of about 100 guests!

These are two of the hottest swing dancers in New Hampshire!

Our friend Jerry dancing with our sister-in-law, Peggy.
Here are some pics of Maria's exhibition with Michael. These shots are all from the Foxtrot. We hope to have video clips from both the Foxtrot and the Cha-cha posted soon. In the meantime, click on the individual pics for larger versions.

A hustle?
Dave spent most of the evening behind the desk greeting guests and running the music.

<-- Jerry and Jamie were invaluable in helping us get Paper Moon off the ground. Jerry spent many hours helping us build the floor and paint the walls. (this photo is from the '04 Seacoast Classic)

Jamie helped us in various ways all the way from finding the space through the baking of this wonderful cake! Thank you guys!! -->

The Spread!! Maria's mother and her friend, Debbie Hockman were responsible for this.
